Baldur’s Gate 3 Players Are Averaging More Than 5 Hours Of Playtime Per Day

Players have been logging in a wild amount of hours into Larian Studios’ RPG Baldur’s Gate 3 since it officially launched earlier this month. It currently has more daily active user minutes than games such as Remnant II and CS: GO.

Thanks to a Twitter post by Circana’s Mat Piscatella, we know that Baldur’s Gate 3 currently has over 300 daily minutes (five hours) per daily active user. It’s also worth pointing out that this takes into account players who are idling as well as those actively playing the game. Meanwhile, Remnant II players have been averaging a little over 200 minutes a day, and CS: GO players have been logging in roughly 150 minutes daily.

This isn’t the first time Baldur’s Gate 3 has been in the news for having a very active playerbase. Last week, Steam players spent more than a quarter of their time playing Baldur’s Gate 3, with 27.5% of total playtime in the US. On top of that, players managed to log in a total of 1,225 years in playtime over the launch weekend.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is number two on Steam’s Top 100 played games at the moment, sitting right behind CS: GO and above Dota 2. This has helped the game become one of the biggest PC launches this year, and it’s one of the top-selling games on Steam right now.
