The celebrity entertainment world was shocked this week when Joe Jonas filed for divorce from Sophie Turner.
The 34-year-old entertainer and 27-year-old Game of Thrones actress had been married for four years, but rumors had been spreading the last few weeks when Joe was seen without his wedding ring.
On Tuesday (September 5), Joe made things official and filed to end the marriage. Now, they have released a statement.

On Instagram, they said it was a statement from both of them.
They said, “After four wonderful years of marriage we have decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes and privacy for us and our children.”
