Mia Thornton and her husband Gordon have called it quits.
On Friday (September 29), the 38-year-old Real Housewives of Potomac star announced that she and Gordon, 70, have separated after 11 years of marriage.

“Like all marriages, ours has had its ups and downs,” Mia shared with People. “At this time, Gordon and I are separated, but my family is my number one priority, and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to make sure we are okay.”
She added, “We ask that you respect our privacy and give us the time and space to figure things out.”
Mia and Gordon married in March 2012 and share son Jeremiah, 8, and daughter Juliana, 6. Additionally, they each have one child from previous relationships.
Mia and Gordon‘s marital woes are expected to play out on the upcoming eighth season of RHOP, which premieres on Nov. 5 on Bravo.
In the trailer for the new season, Mia admitted through tears the she “obtained a divorce lawyer” during a difficult point in their relationship.
