Daniel Radcliffe is sharing some new comments about the upcoming Harry Potter TV series.
It was reported back in April 2023 that the new series would be based on the beloved books and be a full reboot of the property following the successful film franchise.
“Each season would reportedly draw from one of the books, suggesting an ongoing franchise that would stretch for years for the studio,” the report from Variety said.
In a new interview, the 34-year-old actor – who played Harry Potter in all eight movies – revealed if he would appear in the new adaption.
Keep reading to find out more…“I don’t think so,” Daniel told E! News. “I think they very wisely want to [have] a clean break. And I don’t know if it would work to have us do anything in it.”
Daniel went on to say that he’s “very happy to just watch along with everyone else.”
When asked how he would respond if producers of the new series reached out about a cameo, Daniel played coy.
“I’m gonna be a politician about this, and not deal in hypotheticals,” Daniel said.
