Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back was released in the US exactly 44 years ago (May 21, 1980). It is a favorite of mine. If you watched the movie when you were younger, how did you feel about it then and how do you feel about it now?

It was Might 21, 1980 when Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Again was launched within the US. And it stays my favourite Star Wars film and one in all my favourite movies of all time. There are such a lot of fantastic scenes in that film, and the story works each superficially but in addition in a a lot deeper approach, prefer it appeals to one thing outdated and elementary concerning the human expertise and our existence, wants and needs, and relationships.

Watching it once more, btw, it nonetheless holds up very nicely. Since then, there have been so many imitations however none can match the ability of the unique, imo.
