Javier Bardem had the sweetest things to say about wife Penelope Cruz while being honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Oscar-winning actor thanked his wife during his acceptance speech at the 2024 San Sebastian International Film Festival on Friday night (September 20) in San Sebastian, Spain.
The ceremony took place almost exactly 30 years after Javier won the Best Actor prize at the festival for the movie Numbered Days.
Penelope appeared to tear up during the speech as she blew kisses to Javier from her seat.

“To a woman who I love and who I’ve shared a life with, I want to thank and give my deep gratitude for the human being you are and how you can be responsible for life, the life of your children, the life of your family, your mother, your friends, the life of others, the many people that you don’t know that you suffer for and you take care of and undoubtedly the life of this gentleman who’s here, who loves you and thanks you very much for it,” Javier said on stage (via THR).
Javier and Penelope are one of just four Hollywood couples to achieve this impressive feat!
