Lil Tay has revealed a health battle one year after her death hoax.
Back in August 2023, it was reported that the 15-year-old internet star, along with her brother, had died. However, she and her family released a statement proving that she was alive, and Meta also confirmed her Instagram had been hacked.
On Sept. 12, 2024, Lil Tay returned to Instagram for the first time in almost a year, to reveal that she had been diagnosed with a “life-threatening heart tumor.”
Keep reading to find out more…Two days later, another video was uploaded of Lil Tay laying in a hospital bed hooked up to several different machines and monitors after she underwent open-heart surgery.
“We are overjoyed to share that Tay’s open-heart surgery was a great success! We are deeply thankful to her surgeon, cardiologist and the team who are the best in the world!” the post’s caption read. “Thank you for the love, prayers, and positive energy you have all sent her way. Thank you for your continued support 🙏❤️ We are off to a great start on the road to recovery.”
