Jennifer Hudson brought Flavor Flav to tears with her sweet surprise on her talk show!
The hip-hop legend was a guest on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Thursday (September 26) and he opened up about how he got involved with the U.S. Women’s Water Polo Team.
“Hopefully other celebs like myself will step in and sponsor some of these United States Olympics teams,” Flav said. “All sponsorships are needed. We gotta support. Mainly female sports!”
Flav stepped up and sponsored the water polo team when he learned that the players have 2-3 jobs to support their Olympic dreams, all while training for the games.

So, what was the surprise?
U.S. Women’s Water Polo Team members Maggie Steffens and Ashleigh Johnson showed up to give Flav a big hug and thank him for his sponsorship.
“This is a crazy surprise! Am I surprised?! Omg!” Flav said while wiping away tears.
