Zach Bryan confirmed he and his girlfriend Brianna Chickenfry had split up, but she had no idea he was going to post the statement confirming their breakup on social media.
If you don’t know, on Tuesday (October 22), the 28-year-old country music singer officially confirmed that he and the 25-year-old influencer, whose real name is Brianna LaPaglia, had split up after she shared a cryptic post. Brianna then filmed a YouTube video from her bathroom floor saying that they had only broken up one day prior and she was blindsided by his announcement.
The video is now making the rounds and, at the time of this posting, is the number 2 trending video on YouTube.

Brianna shared, “I just woke up to Zach posting on his Instagram that we broke up. I had no idea that post was going up. He didn’t text me, he didn’t call me. I just woke up to a bunch of texts being like, ‘Are you OK?’ I’m like, ‘Did my f—ing dad die?’ I’m completely blindsided by that.”
“I’ve been crying for, like, five days straight. I’m at the point where it’s, like, how can you give someone everything and love them so unconditionally through stuff that you shouldn’t,” she said.
“This is so embarrassing. I don’t give a f–k,” she added.
Brianna continued, “How can you give every ounce of yourself to someone and then be discarded of in a few days. It’s really, really heartbreaking and I don’t want to talk about details right now, I don’t want to talk about it yet,” she continued. “I wanted to heal privately and I didn’t even know that he was going to post that. We broke up yesterday, so I wasn’t ready to do anything publicly.”
“I wanted to just be hurt for a week and lay in bed. I just didn’t want it to be public, so I’m just feeling blindsided,” she shared.
Zach and Brianna were first linked back in July 2023. The pair most recently attended the 2024 Grammys together.
