Sean “Diddy” Combs accused federal prosecutors of tampering with evidence in an attempt to keep him in jail leading up to his trail for allegations of sex trafficking and more.
The 55-year-old rapper has a hearing on Friday (November 22) to petition for a bail to be set.
In newly filed legal documents, his legal team alleged that prosecutors presented the court with an edited version of the video of him assaulting his ex Cassie, which leaked in May 2024 and seemingly corroborated claims of assault that she made in a lawsuit filed earlier in the year.

According to reporting by TMZ, the documents allege that the video was altered to present the “most powerful evidence of danger and obstruction.”
The team described the video as a “domestic dispute in which he ran down the hall of the hotel to recover his clothes and cellphone” and a “sad glimpse into a decade-long consensual relationship.”
This is not the first time that the rapper’s legal team has made big claims about the video.
Diddy‘s allegations come after he was accused of trying to sway a potential jury by orchestrating social media tributes from his children.
