Listen up, y’all, cause this is it: The nominees for the 67th Annual Grammy Awards are finally here.
Beyoncé, who holds the record for the most Grammy wins of all time, topped the 2024 nominations with 11 nods in total – including Best Country Album. Beyoncé also scored nominations for Album of the Year as well as Song of the Year and Record of the Year for “Texas Hold ‘Em,” as well as nods for Best Pop Solo Performance for “Bodyguard” and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with Post Malone for “Levii’s Jeans.”
Coming in behind Beyoncé in terms of total nominations are Charl xcx, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar and Post Malone who pulled seven nominations each, while Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Taylor Swift each earned six nominations.
In addition to Beyoncé, Album of the Year nominees include Charli xcx’s “Brat,” Eilish’s “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” Chappell Roan’s “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess,” Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department,” Carpenter’s “Short n’ Sweet,” Andrê 3000’s “New Blue Sun, and Jacob Collider’s “Djesse Vol. 4.”
Some semi-surprising “snubs” as it were: Ariana Grande and Hozier missing out on any of the top categories.
The 2025 nominations were announced Friday morning by Kylie Minogue, Victoria Monét, Mark Ronson, Ben Platt, Hayley Williams, Brandy Clark, David Frost, Robert Gordon, Gaby Moreno, Deanie Parker and Kirk Franklin on the Grammys YouTube channel.
The final round of Recording Academy voting will take place from Dec. 12 through Jan. 3, 2025. The winners will then be announced live on Feb. 2, 2025, on CBS and Paramount+. A host has not yet been named.
