Another Happy Gilmore star is officially back on set for the sequel!
Since a sequel to Adam Sandler‘s 1996 gold comedy was announced earlier this year, fans have been waiting to see who would be involved. The cast list is starting to come together, and it features a mix of new and old faces.
On Saturday (November 9), new photos from set revealed that another star from the original movie is currently filming with Adam.

People obtained photos of Adam on set with costar Ben Stiller in Kearny, New Jersey.
If you forgot, Ben played a nursing home orderly named Hal L. in the first movie. He’s back in character in the photos from the movie’s set.
In them, he’s wearing a black vest with a blue button-up shirt. Ben added oversized belt buckle and a nametag add. He was also joined by a stunt double.
We don’t know much about the movie yet. However, Adam hinted at the plot during an appearance on the New Heights podcast.
“The movie itself picks up from an older guy who played golf a long time,” he explained. “Some stuff goes on in his life, and he’s different — he’s a bit of a mess.”
What happens next? “Then we try to get his life cooking again,” he said.
Happy Gilmore 2 is being developed by Netflix. A release date has not yet been confirmed.
