The stars of the Gladiator sequel have arrive in Japan!
Paul Mescal joined co-stars Denzel Washington, Connie Nielsen, and Fred Hechinger at a press conference for Gladiator II on Monday (November 4) held at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya in Tokyo, Canada.
Just a few days earlier, Paul, Connie, and Fred were in Sydney for the Australian premiere of the upcoming movie.
From legendary director Ridley Scott, Gladiator II continues the epic saga of power, intrigue, and vengeance set in Ancient Rome. Years after witnessing the death of the revered hero Maximus at the hands of his uncle, Lucius (Mescal) is forced to enter the Colosseum after his home is conquered by the tyrannical Emperors who now lead Rome with an iron fist. With rage in his heart and the future of the Empire at stake, Lucius must look to his past to find strength and honor to return the glory of Rome to its people.
Pedro Pascal and Joseph Quinn also star in the movie.
In a recent interview, Paul opened up about his diet for getting in shape for the movie and revealed the two things he refused to give up.
