Christina and Matt, whom she married in 2020, now live in France with their two kids Isaiah, 4 and Kenna, 3, and Christina‘s 14-year-old daughter Violet, whom she shares with her ex-husband The-Dream.

“What’s better than an opportunity like that?” Christina added about immersing her children in French culture.

Christina, who speaks English and Spanish, admitted that she hasn’t fully grasped the French language yet.

“I’d be at like restaurants and having dinner with people, everyone is speaking French,” she shared, explaining that she initially brushed it off because “I love to eat, so I would just let everybody talk, I’m just gonna eat away.”

However, that all changed during one date night with Matt who, spent nearly two hours speaking completely in French with a restaurant host.

“It was a lesson learned ’cause I was in France,” Christina said. “And I said, ‘You know what? This is actually a problem for me. It’s time to stop making excuses and challenges myself to learn another language.’”

As for how her French lessons are going, Christina said joked, “I’m Franglish now.”

Overall, the family is now thriving in Paris.

“I love it there,” Christina said. “It’s gorgeous.”

Another star also just recently opened up about their decision to move out of Hollywood.
