So You Think You Can Dance‘s Allison Holker seems to be defending her decision to reveal personal details about her late husband, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss after his tragic passing at the age of 40.
The former Ellen Show DJ died by suicide in December 2022.
This week, his wife, Allison, shared personal details about his life, including finding out about a drug use, sharing details he wrote in his private journal, and talking about possible childhood sexual trauma he may have endured. She has a memoir coming out in February, “This Far.”
On Instagram, she responded to a comment from a fellow dancer who she may know.

The person wrote, “This whole thing made me sad. He’s gone. Why tear apart this name?” She then referred to her new relationship with Adam Edmunds, but said, “This paycheck was not worth disgracing his name.”
Allison then responded personally to the Instagram commenter.
“I’ll always love you. Just trying to help people feel safe to ask for help and support,” Allison posted in People‘s Instagram comments. The same person the responded back to Allison, which you can see above.
Allison posted some supportive messages in her Instagram Stories, including one from a person who said, “Sharing this powerful message to remind us all how important it is to have open conversations about mental health.”
Allison and Stephen shared kids Weslie, 16, Maddox, 8, and Zaia, 5.
