Daniel Craig will no longer star in DC Studios’ Sgt. Rock movie, which would have reunited him with Queer director Luca Guadagnino.
We first learned that the 56-year-old James Bond actor was in talks for the role back in November 2024.
However, on Wednesday (February 19), it was reported that he had exited the projects. Several possible reasons were revealed.

According to reporting by The Hollywood Reporter, the movie was said to interfere with Daniel and his wife Rachel Weisz‘s schedule. However, some told the outlet that the actor “soured on the role after Queer failed to perform not only at the box office but also in the awards season race.”
