Evan Peters commits to his role in the upcoming series The Beauty.
The 38-year-old actor was seen in a bloody shirt and bruised face while filming a violent scene for the FX show in Venice, Italy on Friday (April 4).
The Beauty is based on a comic book series and FX has ordered an 11-episode first season. While plot details for the show have not been revealed, Deadline reports the graphic novel is “about an STD that makes those affected beautiful. But the disease, dubbed ‘the Beauty,’ eventually kills its hosts as part of a suspected sinister government plot.”

Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope, Ashton Kutcher, and Rebecca Hall will also star in the series, which was created by Ryan Murphy.
