Pierce Brosnan is reacting to the speculation that Aaron Taylor-Johnson will be the next James Bond.
The 71-year-old actor, who played the iconic role from 1995-2002, recently weighed in on the possibly of Aaron, 33, stepping into 007′s shoes.
“I think he would be very good,” Pierce told Yahoo Entertainment in a new interview.

Last month, rumors broke that Aaron is being eyed to play the titular role in the next James Bond film. However, the reports are currently unverified.
Meanwhile, Pierce believes Aaron‘s dedication as an actor could work well in the Bond franchise.
“I cast him in one of the movies I made a long time ago called The Greatest, actually. and he played the greatest. This young man came on the set and took the space, filled the space with passion and energy,” he said.
“I think if he wished it, wanted it and got it, he would be great,” he added.
