IndieWire Announces 2024 FYC TV Screening Series at Vidiots

IndieWire is thrilled to announce “Pass the Remote,” our new FYC TV screening series. Produced in partnership with Disney, it will begin April 25 and continue through the end of May. IndieWire moderators will interview talent from shows across Disney’s linear and streaming portfolio, including the hit series “Reservation Dogs.”

Ron Howard will also join us for a conversation about his new, as-yet-untitled Jim Henson documentary. And we’ll be kicking things off with a Disney Casting Panel, featuring some of the top casting directors in the business, and two separate Disney Storytelling panels, for Drama Series and Comedy Series.

The screening series will take place at the Vidiots Foundation in Los Angeles’s Eagle Rock neighborhood. Learn more and register for an invite here.

“We’re excited to offer evenings of great TV and the first-person experiences of its creators,” said IndieWire senior VP and editor in chief Dana Harris-Bridson. “Partnering with Vidiots, one of our favorite screening locations, makes this a true IndieWire event.”

“We’re thrilled to launch this new series with FX, Disney, Hulu, Marvel Studios, Nat Geo & ABC and celebrate such a wide range of excellence in TV,” said IndieWire Senior VP & Publisher James Israel.
