An eighth and final season of Outlander is in the works!
The hit, fan-favorite Starz drama just celebrated it’s 10 year anniversary since it first premiered, and there’s still more to come.
Production has been underway on season eight for awhile now and the cast has been hard at work to deliver a final season worth remembering. In fact, they’re just about ready to wrap up as they head into filming the last episode this week.
While the main series may be ending, a prequel series is also in the works and filming is underway!
Outlander spans the genres of romance, science-fiction, history and adventure in one epic tale. It follows the story of Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945, who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743 Scotland. When forced to marry Jamie Fraser, a chivalrous young Scottish warrior, Claire’s heart is torn between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.
