Following their first debate, Harris’s staff rapidly issued a press release saying she could be prepared for a second.
“Underneath the intense lights, the American folks acquired to see the selection they’ll face this fall on the poll field: between transferring ahead with Kamala Harris, or going backwards with Trump,” Jen O’Malley Dillon, Harris’s marketing campaign chair, stated. “That’s what they noticed tonight and what they need to see at a second debate in October. Vice President Harris is prepared for a second debate. Is Donald Trump?”
