Sophia Bush has made her debut on Grey’s Anatomy and we finally know more details about how her character will impact the show.
The former One Tree Hill actress is playing trauma surgeon Dr. Cass Beckham and we already knew that the character was married to a cardiothoracic surgeon at Grey Sloan. After the character was introduced in the November 7 episode, we now know more about their marriage.

Cass and her husband David, played by Aussie actor Wil Traval, make their entrance into the Grey’s Anatomy world while out for dinner at a fancy restaurant, where they run into Teddy (Kim Raver) and Owen (Kevin McKidd).
Owen and David both get called into the hospital, so they leave Teddy and Cass to enjoy the evening together. When they move to a bar next door, the conversation between the women leads to Cass revealing that she and David are in an open marriage.
Cass eventually kisses Teddy, but she backs away and says her marriage is not open.
Teddy decided to tell Owen about the kiss as she thought it was funny, but he did not find it funny and slammed the door behind him as he left the room.
Could Cass come between Teddy and Owen?! We’ll have to wait and see!
