Anne Hathaway has lined up her next starring role, and it’s in a movie directed and co-written by her former Batman costar Joseph Gordon-Levitt!
The 42-year-old actress will reportedly lead the mysterious new movie, which has been described as an AI thriller.

Deadline exclusively reported on the project, which will reportedly be produced by Rian Johnson and Ram Bergman‘s T-Street Productions. Joseph worked on the script with Kieran Fitzgerald. However, details are under wraps at the moment.

Anne and Joseph previously starred in 2012′s The Dark Knight Rises, where they brought Catwoman and a young Robin to life respectively.
While you are most familiar with Joseph in front of the camera, this is not his first foray into directing. His feature directorial debut Don Jon premiered in 2013 and starred the likes of Scarlett Johansson and Julianne Moore.
Anne has several other projects in the works currently, including a star-studded project from director Christopher Nolan. She’s also set to lead the big-screen adaptation of Colleen Hoover‘s best-selling novel Verity.
The actress will also return to Genovia for a third Princess Diaries movie.
