Jessica Simpson is back with new music for the first time in more than a decade!
The 44-year-old entertainer just dropped her new song “Use My Heart Against Me,” which marks her return to music and her first song following her split from husband Eric Johnson.
The last time Jessica released original music was in September 2008 with her album Do You Know.
“Music makes you un-become to become, and through this process my soul has been pulled to the very place it belongs,” Jessica wrote on Instagram. “To the girl I was, I love you. To the woman I am, I am proud of you. To the woman I am becoming, I am excited for you….lets do this…it’s GO TIME.”
The song will be featured on Jessica‘s upcoming EP, Nashville Canyon, Part 1.
