Finally, You Can Feel Like You’re Getting Punched While Playing A Game With Assassin’s Creed Mirage Haptic Suit

OWO and Ubisoft have partnered to bring physical sensations to Ubisoft’s game portfolio. The collaboration begins with Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the latest installment in the popular franchise, with a haptic suit that promises to “incorporate some exclusive sensations never felt before.”

Via the OWO Haptic Gaming System exclusive to Assassin’s Creed Mirage Edition, players will join Basim, a street thief plagued by visions, as he seeks answers and justice–and be able to experience the impacts felt by the in-game avatar. The suit will also feature an exclusive ACM skin resembling the character’s outfit. Initially, the ACM Edition will be sold exclusively on OWO’s official website. Later, it will be available as a bundle with the Assassin’s Creed Mirage game through various retailers.

“By leveraging OWO’s technologies and expertise, we can immerse players in the world, sounds, and sensations of Assassin’s Creed Mirage in an innovative and enhanced way,” Fabian Salomon, lead producer at Ubisoft Bordeaux, said. “We look forward to players discovering and enjoying Basim’s story with the power of OWO.”

Jose Fuertes, OWO founder and CEO said, “We are excited to unveil our strategic partnership with Ubisoft. This alliance merges Ubisoft’s gameplay with OWO’s technological prowess. It is an opportunity for OWO to collaborate with Ubisoft and have Assassin’s Creed Mirage in our game portfolio. Together, we aim to reshape the gaming landscape and push the boundaries of interactive entertainment.”

While a release date and price point for the haptic suit have not been revealed yet, it will be compatible with the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S versions of Assassin’s Creed Mirage. OWO’s regular edition haptic vest is priced at approximately $560, with availability in nine sizes and a weight of less than 1.3 pounds.

Aside from Assassin’s Creed Mirage, OWO’s haptic vest is currently compatible with 25 other games, including popular titles such as Fortnite, Rocket League, Halo Infinite, Apex Legends, and League of Legends.
